What to review during your first week with Presbot
Use your first week to learn from real visitor behavior and make a few high-value improvements.
Your first week is for learning
The first week after launch gives you something planning cannot: real visitor behavior.
You may discover that people ask different questions than expected, choose one topic more often than others, or need a clearer path to follow-up.
The goal is not to change everything. Focus on a few improvements that make the experience more useful.
Check that Presbot appears where expected
Visit several important pages and confirm the assistant appears consistently.
Test the home page, service pages, pricing page, contact page, and any page receiving active traffic.
If the assistant is missing from some pages, review how to install Presbot on your website.
Review common visitor questions
Look for themes rather than individual wording.
Several questions about cost, availability, or service areas may point to one missing answer or one unclear page.
Group similar questions and decide whether they need:
- A new Quick topic
- A stronger saved answer
- Additional Knowledge
- A clearer website page
Notice where answers feel incomplete
An answer may be accurate but still leave the visitor unsure about what to do next.
Check whether responses should link to a service page, pricing page, booking page, or follow-up flow.
Keep next steps relevant. Not every answer needs a sales message.
Review lead quality
Open the leads captured during the week and ask:
- Do we understand what each visitor wants?
- Do we have a usable contact method?
- Are important details missing?
- Are we asking for information we do not need?
Use how to review and manage captured leads to improve follow-up.
Check whether visitors find the right topic
If visitors choose a topic and then ask for something unrelated, the topic label may be too broad.
Replace vague labels such as Learn more or Information with clear actions such as Compare plans or Request a quote.
Review how to write effective Quick topics.
Look for repeated manual follow-up
If your team keeps answering the same question after a lead arrives, consider answering it earlier in the visitor journey.
A clear saved answer or Knowledge entry may help visitors make progress before contacting your team.
Check mobile placement
Use the assistant on a phone during the first week, not only before launch.
Real website changes, consent banners, and promotional buttons can affect placement.
Make sure Presbot does not cover important controls.
Review response expectations
Compare the confirmation message with your team’s actual response time.
If the assistant promises a reply within one business day, make sure the team can meet that expectation.
Clear, realistic language builds more trust than an ambitious promise.
Make small, focused changes
Choose the two or three most useful improvements from the week.
For example:
- Rename one unclear Quick topic
- Add one common question as a saved answer
- Expand Knowledge about service areas
- Remove one unnecessary lead question
Test each change before moving to the next.
Keep a short review note
Record what you noticed, what you changed, and why.
This helps you avoid repeating old decisions and gives other team members useful context.
