Getting started

Create and customize your Presbot assistant

Create a Presbot assistant, add visitor questions and answers, test its responses, and prepare it for publishing.

1. Create your assistant

After creating your Presbot account, open the assistant-creation page and enter the requested business details.

Use a clear assistant name that visitors will recognize. In most cases, your business or service name is the best choice.

2. Add the questions visitors ask most often

Start with the questions that repeatedly appear in calls, emails, contact forms, or sales conversations.

Useful examples include:

  • What services do you offer?
  • Who is this service for?
  • What areas do you serve?
  • How does pricing work?
  • How soon can we get started?
  • What information do you need from me?

Write questions in the language your visitors naturally use.

3. Write clear saved answers

A good saved answer should:

  • answer the question directly;
  • use plain language;
  • avoid unnecessary detail;
  • tell the visitor what to do next when appropriate;
  • remain accurate over time.

Do not make promises your business cannot consistently keep.

4. Add supporting Knowledge

Use Knowledge for information that helps Presbot answer broader visitor questions.

Only include information that is accurate, current, and appropriate to share publicly.

Review Knowledge whenever your services, policies, availability, or pricing change.

5. Test the visitor experience

Before publishing, test the assistant as if you were a new visitor.

Check:

  • common questions;
  • less obvious questions;
  • questions the assistant should not answer;
  • the visitor inquiry flow;
  • confirmation messages;
  • mobile layout;
  • spelling and links.

If an answer is unclear, improve the saved answer or supporting Knowledge before publishing.

6. Keep the assistant current

Review real visitor questions regularly.

Add or improve content when visitors:

  • ask the same unanswered question;
  • misunderstand an answer;
  • leave before completing an inquiry;
  • request information that is missing from your website.

A useful assistant improves over time through small, accurate updates.
