Publish Presbot on your website
Preview your Presbot assistant, copy the installation code, add it to your website, and verify the visitor experience.
1. Preview the assistant
Open the assistant preview and test it on both desktop and mobile.
Confirm that:
- the assistant name is correct;
- the opening message is clear;
- common questions are easy to find;
- answers are accurate;
- the inquiry flow works;
- links open correctly;
- text remains readable on a small screen.
2. Copy the installation code
Use the installation code provided in your Presbot dashboard.
Copy the complete code without changing identifiers, quotation marks, or script URLs.
3. Add the code to your website
Place the code in the location recommended by your website platform or site administrator.
The exact process depends on how your website is managed.
Common options include:
- adding it to a site-wide custom-code area;
- adding it before the closing body tag;
- using a tag manager;
- asking your website developer or agency to install it.
Only add the code once unless Presbot explicitly instructs otherwise.
4. Publish your website changes
Save and publish the website update.
If your website uses caching, allow the cache to refresh or clear it using your normal website process.
5. Verify the live assistant
Open your website in a private or incognito browser window.
Check:
- the launcher appears;
- it opens correctly;
- it does not cover important page controls;
- it works on mobile;
- questions receive the expected answers;
- a test inquiry completes successfully;
- the business owner receives the expected notification.
6. Troubleshoot installation problems
If the assistant does not appear:
- Confirm that the website change was published.
- Confirm that the full code was copied.
- Check whether the code appears once in the rendered page.
- Clear the website or browser cache.
- Test in a private browser window.
- Check whether another script or security policy blocks it.
When requesting support, include:
- the affected page URL;
- your website platform;
- what you expected to happen;
- what actually happened;
- any visible browser error.
